Captain Russ Lawrence has been fishing the Vineyard and Elizabeth Islands for nearly 65 years. His experience in fishing methods include fly fishing, surf casting, trolling and drifting bait. While fishing from his well equipped 23' Sailfish Center Console charter boat, "Mooncusser" you can be assured that he will do his best to get you on the fish. The equipment supplied is time tested for its reliability for he builds his own rods and ties his own flies. If you prefer, bring your own favorites.

$500 for half day
$700 for 6 hour day
$950 for full day

Beginning on July 1, 2026 bookings for fishing trips for calendar dates 7/1/2026 thru 10/31/2026 will change due to the 33% increase in fuel that we are experiencing. New rates below.

Hopefully, the fuel prices will return to less expensive 2025 rates.

$550 for half day fishing trips

$800 for 6 hour trips

$1050 for full day trips 

Payment Cash, Venmo, Zelle and credit cards are accepted on the boat at the end of your trip.

Captain Russ will discuss payment terms with you when you make your reservation.
